Battery test indicated that I should replace my battery...
So the Toyota dealership tested my battery when I had my IS in for an oil change. The test reads that my battery is 550 CCA (whatever that is), and the technician stated that I' am well below half of my battery life and that I should get it replaced soon. My battery failed the test. I noticed some battery acid leakage on my battery, but do I really need to have it replaced asap? About how long do you think I can go on this battery?

I believe CCA stands for cold charging amps, which is a measure of how much power in amps that your battery can provide in a pretty low temperature for a minute or half a minute or so.
I don't know how much or how little 550 is, so I can't comment on that

I live in South Carolina. The winters aren't all that cold compared to some other places. This is my daily driver vehicle (until I get a motorcycle in about 10months). The engine turns over quickly, and the startup is fine.

Personally I replace batteries on my own stuff when they are 3 years old.
I dont like being stranded or getting that call from my wife that she is having trouble.
At 4 years you are on borrowed time.
How lucky do ya feel???
