AWD w/BCR Coils - Driving me nuts
At first - after installing BCR coils on my 350awd the ride wasn't bad at all.
Now - after a month or so though, the wobbling between 10-20mph and the car vibrations upon acceleration are really getting old. There's no steering wheel vibration- but I can feel the car itself doing it. It's annoying as hell.
Its not the wheels because there was none of this crap occurring after the wheel install.
Anyone have any solutions? All bolts have been gone back through and torqued to spec and i'm riding at 25.5 all around.
I'm thinking about sending the damn coils back and getting springs. I refuse to drive a $50k car that rides like a Dodge Caravan at times.

known problem with the AWDs. alignment, balances, etc... is not going to fix it. your axles is whats causing the vibrations. im very close to a fix however with the amount of money i already dumped into this problem, im taking a break for a bit before i finish it up sadly

i appericate the offer but if the solution doesnt work, id feel bad for taking peoples money. im going to give it a shot again in a month or so. check out the AWD suspension thread in the 3GS forum. My solution sorta worked, i just eff'd up the placement of it lol.

yep. at the moment most people with a GS or IS that are lowered have a wobble between 10-20mph acceleration and sometimes at higher speeds. I'm lowered on f-sports and it vibrates. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. It seems to be caused by the axles being driven at an extreme angle. In fact when you have it at about 25" off the ground from the fender, you're axles are at about -11 to -14 degrees so that's most likely the cause of it. But if you raise the car and keep the axles straight, it won't cause a problem.
