Yeah man if you crash a rented bike either you buy the bike or fixed it. My MX skills saved me out in Dallas hit a false neutral on a GSX600 doing about 110 into a turn so I had to stand it up & ran off the track about 85 lucky there was a lot of run off. Two things going through my mind 1. If i fall Mark is gonna kill me (the owner)& i am gonna have to buy this bike, No Way. 2. There are thousands of tarantula spiders there & i wasn't haven any of those. Easy on the brakes & road it out. My dad & a few other instructors were watching. After I rode back to the truck my dad says you need to check your shorts, I was like nahh i kinda had a feeling i was gonna pull out of it. I was more scared of the owner & buying the bike than getting hurt.

Man bro your IS has seen it's good share of track time. Considering all the garage queens, I'd say you & the other few who really hammered out the cars at the track show how reliable these things are. And most of all how capable the are regardless of "numbers".

Plenty here have said that IS's don't belong on a race track, yet none were willing to try their theory out. Mad props to your valor bro. And same goes to those who did the same. Although I haven't put mine through the same challenge as you. It's seen some action in other grounds.

Our track day was great. Even though back then I was fully stock. My daily driver is creeping up on 100k so it's doing it's job.

Haha what up man was wondering of you were gonna chime in. Yeah man your are prob the only 250 to do a track day. Yes I have beat the crap out of my IS & now I can say I know it's limits. I have spun the car twice pushing & learning it's limits.

Dude, sweet. That looked really fun, and I am jealous. '06 350, bone stock, but it's still fun to drive. I commute 80 miles a day for work, so I drive easy to get good mileage, but when I have 1/4 tank left, I drive it hard and have fun.

Man, I would love to do that! Just not in my own car. I'm considering taking my 350 to the drags this summer but I don't think I'd want to abuse her on a track like that. Well done though! Props!

Very nice. The very first time I took my car to the track (my first track event) I fried the brakes. The rotors are warped and I need to replace them. Where did you get your slotted rotors? Would you recommend them?

Yeah Slotted did work better but i warped them after like 4 track days. But it took a lot of abuse those before they warped. You can get them at any good store online. I don't remember where i got mine.

Sounds like your Kyowa wheels holds up pretty well, thought those would bend easily but looks like good quality

Yeah they surprised me. I think I did 2 track days with them(Willow Springs & Fontana). They held up fine & still over year driving Los Angeles roads they are doing great. For the $ I spend def worth it.
