Default Tire treadwear question..

I have the Oem's Bridgestone RE33. Right now is at 19k mileage but it still got a decent amount of tread left. I notice my front driver's side tire is wearing out more then the rest. The part of the tire that is wearing out is the inner edge of the tire. Is my toe off or is it due to something else? Any input would be awesome. Thanks.

Edited: dropped on f-sport springs.(did a alignment @ firestone 2 weeks later after installed)

That issue is standard on the 2nd gen IS. My research indicates it is caused by a excessive toe-out spec from Toyota. Consult a expert non dealer alignment shop for solutions. My 2007 IS was showing steel belt @ 19,000 miles.

Yeah, I'm going to take it back to firestone. Good thing they have the 12-month/12,000-mile limited warranty on it! So it SHOULD be free.

Factory alignment is bad. Go to a dedicated place to do it, that should fix it.

I had to get new tires because tires when I bought my vehicle CPO back in late August, the tires were compromised due to bad alignment (the dealerhip supposedly changed 2 new tires and did alignment). I went to a dedicated shop get alignment done and a set of brand new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and driven them for just over 12K so far and recently rotated them. Tire wear doing well as expected and I get them checked about every 4-5K or so at the alignment shop as per their recommendation.

I'm just gonna run 0 degrees toe front/back and run factory spec on the rest. I should be OK.

Make sure all the numbers make sense, than just running factory spec. Factory spec could be still off if not done properly and simply match up the green lights!

There is my alignment report, you can see how bad is was off. The alignment person had also did some adjustments to correct the geometry of the car. According to one of the modetators, the report seems to indicate that the subframe was adjusted.

I would say it was bad because I ended up replacing all 4 tires within less than a month after purchasing the vehicle. Besides, that they put the 2 new tires in like odd locations, like, front right and rear left. The alignment person who felt the old tires after replacing them did say, they were pretty much ruined.

That's a negative sir! My toes are "within spec" My front camber was a bit too negative. Can't do anything about it cause you can't adjust the front camber. Oh well..
