Can anyone tell me if having damaged, dented and bent fins on the A/C condenser radiator can cause any leak of the A/C gas or is the worst case that the A/C wont perform as efficiently? Does anything like gas etc actually flow through these small fins?
thanks

No, the gas runs through pipes in the condenser. The fins just provide dramatically more surface area to promote heat flow from the hot refrigerant in the pipes to the surrounding air as it condenses to a liquid. Assuming the pipes inside are not cracked, punctured or badly abraded, you don't need to worry about leaks.
To the degree that the fin damage prevents airflow through the coils, you'll lose capacity and efficiency. A small amount of damage in one spot is nothing to be concerned over. A tool like this http://www.amazon.com/Malco-Products.../dp/B001EVJPFA can be used to straighten the fins.
