aftermarket subwoofers in IS250?
I was wonder if i build a box or a wall in my trunk, if i should do a ported or sealed box and which way should i face my subwoofers to get the best sound and output? Or vice versa with the wall...

What kind of subs are you thinking of getting? I used to have 2 eclipse titanium series 15's in a sealed box facing out toward the back of the car, and an 1800 watt amp. The sound was amazing but in my opinion was just too much. Even when they were turned all the way down! The car comes with a good sound system as it is, I guess it depends on your personal preference and how much bass you want!

yeah you can shut the amp off while you drive just toggle switch the remote wire. but i would just get a amp with a remote bass **** and just turn the bass down instead if you dont wanna hear the boom

here is what I did. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...with-pics.html Prior to this I had a JL Audio 12W6V2 in a factory sealed box powered by a JL Audio 500/1 and a JL Audio remote bass ****. Sounded really good for the price and kept a lot of room in trunk. Here are a few of my build complete.

LOL...it wasn't anything super crazy like that other guys! But I was amazed that I did it all by myself...and it actually worked!
Sold those subs with that car...I dont think I will be putting subs in my new one...
...unless sffd103 wants to put in a set up like his for me! ha
