suspension first! and plus since you already painted your wheels just leave it, it'll look better with a good drop
BC Coilovers are around 950 if you get it from the vendors on the forums

I was in the same boat as you not too long ago (needed cheap wheels)... I had just bought the IS, and was in my last two months of college so money was tight until I returned home to start working full-time (was only getting 4/5 salary while in school and had a bunch of bills, the down payment, and an engagement ring hurt the checking account)....
So as luck would have it I hit something on the interstate and blow out a tire and destroy a rim... they were aftermarket and I could not find a single replacement so I was left having to get a whole new set of rims/tires.
I ended up going with MSR, and honestly for the money they have been great. The rim/tire combo as about what you were looking to spend - I ended up paying $1100 for the setup (got 20% off because the tire shop effed up) so they were originally like $1350
Rims look nice, have been rock solid.... there is a monster pothole I always always always try to avoid, one day I was zoned out and smacked it really good.... no problems at all. Most of the roads are rough here from the winters/freezing and they've held up great so far. Came with General Altimax HP tires which have a 55k tread warranty (all season tires - not really performance driven). Honestly if I could go back and have deeper pockets I would do it all the same. Great rims, great tires for a great price.
Odds are they're going to end up being my winter rims/tires now and I think I'm going to get something bigger for summer to try and hide the wheel well gap (do not want to lower my car)
I really recommend MSR - made in the USA too!
I got the 045 style and like them a lot (also really like the 093 but don't know if the fitmet works with the ISX50)

i love how everyone is acting like hes gonna take his car to carshows and people are gonna judge his wheels...and some1 said wait to finish college and then buy nice wheels what a joke...who waits 4 years to buy wheels give me a brake...he most likely wont even be driving this car after college...if you cant afford expensive multi piece wheels there is nothing wrong with sporting cheap wheels as long as they look decent on your ride...
here are some options considering this is the style you like from what ive read
http://varrstoen.com/blog/?p=492
about $1000 shipped
18" Tenzo wheels $830 shipped
18" XXR wheels $720 shipped
19" TI Wheels $600 shipped
however i strongly recommend lowering the car on coils before you buy any wheels!!!

These are nice, have tires, and seem very reasonable.
