Who cares what people think....It's your car, go with what makes you feel good, rep or authentic. In the end its all you and what you think about your ride. I myself preffer authentic products but am also a realist and cant always afford the "better" things simply for the fact that life happens and other priorities....Like my other expensive a$$ hobbies!

OR you could just be a careful driver like everyone else with expensive wheels
but sure enough one night (1:30am ish) was leaving school to come home for the weekend and I had a truck in front of me, car to the left and snow/guardrail to the right on the interstate... truck in front was large enough to straddle a file cabinet drawer that was in the middle of the road, since he was in front I couldn't see it until he was over it, so I had all of +/-5 secs to think OH **** and get ready for what was about to happen.... cleared the bumper and exhaust but just caught the corner of the rim/tire and toasted it. Stuff like that happens, with cheaper rims it only would cost me ~$250 for a new tire/rim, expensive ones is another story
With my situation, just a random dumb luck accident cost me like $1600 (rims tires mount balance allignment tpms etc etc) and that was for all new everything all around.... I couldn't imagine that cost for just 1 rim/tire any/every time something happened

Insurance companies cover aftermarket wheels ??!?!?! What insurance company do you have? This is good info to know. If anything happens to my wheels, I am going to give my insurance company a call....

You have to let them know about them and get coverage before hand. Not sure if all companies cover aftermarket parts.

Hey guys,
After a bunch of research including quality and style, i've finally come to conclusion. Im gonna get Enkei Lusso wheels, which is a new style of wheel in their 2011 lineup. I've heard good things about their wheels from forums and personal acquaintances. On top of that they look good, and are in my budget! They come in either 18s or 20s and im going with 18s. It costs $170 per wheel and i can get all 4 wheels+tires for $1165. It comes in two colors: gloss black or hyper silver. Im going with hyper silver but since its new i cant find any pictures of it online besides the ones that they show here: http://enkei.com/lusso.html# I think they look great, but the ones in the picture are 20s. I hope they dont look too small in 18s. I would like to thank everyone thats given advice!

i really like those in the black with machined lip. Although, just to throw a couple more options out there, Sewell has 3 sets of wheels that are in the 200-225 range for CL members. And the Lexus version of those wheels (G-Spider) in liquid graphite are $225/wheel.

Sorry to bring this thread back, but i've scratched out my other decision and decided to go with Varrstoen BBS lm replica wheels. I plan to get the 18 inch with wheel spec 18x9 and 40 offset. With this wide wheel and high offset, will it work without any spacers or modification? Also if anyone has any bad experience with this company, please inform me. So far ive only heard good things about them

What about these on a pearl car? Getting rid of my '11 5.0 Mustang that had a set of the machined wheels on it and going with a 09 IS250. The wheels seemed to be pretty decent quality and looked good IMO. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...rotek02blk.jpg
