Any good cheap wheels?
Hey guys,
I know you're all ballers and have awesome wheels, but im not lol. Im a college kid on a tight budget. Although i would love to get a nice expensive set of wheels, it would literally put my bank balance to $0... I currently have my 17inch stockers powdercoated satin black, but ive been itching to get new wheels and coilovers for a year now... Im on the brink of finally doing it, once i find the right set of wheels!
My question is: are there any good looking rims that are good quality? I looked online and they look good in pictures, but i have no idea how they look in person or if they lack quality (probably do.) Have you guys seen or had experience with any economically friendly rims? I need some quality wheels cause i drive to college alot in queens, which have horrible roads at times. I hit potholes once in a while, and would hate for them to bend on me.
I have a 2006 IS250 AWD. Im not sure about running a staggered setup, i just feel uncomfortable doing something our cars are recommended not to do. Im looking for a gunmetal or dark hyper silver kind of color, i think it would look good on my black car. Lastly im looking for 18s and budget is about 1000-1300 for WHEELS AND TIRES! Yes tires included in the price
Please help

5zigen GN+ Proracer's are pretty nice looking and cheap. A friend of mine owned a set before parted it to sell his car.
It's a 1pc cast wheel...but I'm not sure how "bulletproof" it is.
Can anyone confirm/deny?

'good cheep' = oxymoron here... if you want good cheep wheels either look in the classified section OR stop drinking beer~ if you really want rims you gotta make some sacrifices and cutting out alcohol will leave you with a full wallet.

I looked up those wheels and they look awesome! something i would definitely consider if it was cheaper. to be honest when i said 1300 that is pushing the line, only happens if these wheels are perfect for my needs. The price i saw for those wheels were about 350 per wheel :[

save your money.Finish school. Get a job where you can afford some quality. Not going to get much quality for your budget. Decent tires alone will run close to $1K. Buy low quality, you end up not happy and replacing it later on.

I'm a college student and I work on campus during the school year and have an internship during the summer. Seriously save up for a good set of wheels you really like, instead of picking through the crap. You'll be happier in the long run and you will have gotten something you really wanted, instead of just settling.

ALSO~ drop first then rims, a dropped on stocks will ALWAYS look better than non dropped on rims...
