Default quick question (is it safe to drive w/o vents or center console?)

is it safe/ok to drive around with out your center AC vents and center console (excluding the area around the shifter)? So just vents, climate controls, radio/cd changer, clock/hazard button.

I have everything pulled out to make a double din slot and dont want to put everything back, but its my daily driver.

Yes. That doesn't affect the drivability of the car.

It's fine to drive, and I've done it myself. Only problem was when I removed the heated/vented seats module, the seats defaulted to maximum vent mode. It kept my butt nice and cool, whether I liked it or not.

hey brociouz,

can you pm me a picture of your car, especially the side of it and a picture of the roof? I'm debating to have either a mirror tint all around or 20% black tint with either a 3m gloss black vinyl roof wrap or carbon fiber vinyl roof wrap.....getting all these done this weekend. The reason why I ask you is cause we have the same car and color but mine is a 07 IS350. thanks bruh!

Not a problem to run like this. Just annoying.

Thanks everyone. Yeah I have been driving around to pick up stuff and my AC is blasting cold air at me. haha So I just covered the vents with a small towel.

Haha, not sure why you're posting that question in this thread. This online gallery might be of use to you: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zzw3o/s...7623658766425/

That's from when I first had my roof wrapped in glossy black vinyl - it's since been painted.
