I contemplated on selling my IS250 for a 4Runner to haul my toys around. However with the rising gas prices I have decided to keep around a Corolla to do just that. Damn Toyota for making quality products now I will never be able to get rid of the car because it won't break down and I don't want to trade a high resale value car for a gas guzzling SUV. Avg mileage a year for me is at 10k with my new job so guess I will have to keep this car for a bit longer than I expected.

I sold my 1998 ES300 with almost 300k and still ran great when I sold it. Now I got a 2006 IS350 and love the performance. Hopefully I can get the same or more miles out of the IS350. Lexus is super reliable.

Well done on the high miles!
Do you know which plant yours was manufactured in? Kyushu or Tahara? You can tell by the VIN number, although I forget how.. That info is available here somewhere or in your paperwork. Just curious.

I just looked up KBB value on a 2006 with 238,000 miles and was floored at how much this car is still worth.
Remember a year or so ago with all the bad press and phony acceleration bad press saying Lexus/Toyota value had diminished? Laughable now.
