Cool 2jz twin turbo supra engine will it fit in is250

Hi I'm new to this forum and from the uk.I would like to say hello to everyone I have just bought a is250 and i'm planning alot of mods. I have already fitted Megan headers and a custom straight through exhaust system. Which sound awesome.I have also ordered a set of 20" wheels and h&r springs which I used this forum to find offset ect... I must say there is all of amazing modified is250/350's on this forum unlike the lexus forum in the uk.it's a sin to put 20's on a lexus is in the uk.But I love the VIP style. Go big or go home. Does anybody know if the twin turbo supra engine will fit in the is250 manual.Gearbox and engine mounts look the same as the supra.
Cheers

It will physically fit yes.

Actually making it work with all the original systems will require hundreds of hours of custom work and wiring however, and you'll still have a few warning lights on the dash you won't be able to get rid of. At least one person in Florida has done this already with the results I've described.

If you don't care about anything original working and wish to bring your own gauges and forgo features like climate control it'll require less time/work. The falken drift team took this route, to where it's largely just a 2IS shell with a running 2JZ powertrain in it.

The wirings not a problem.
We use a good engine mapper. He can wire in a aftermarket ecu for me.

My other option was to fit the is350 engine but that only came as a auto.
And I'm not sure if the manual gear box, clutch and flywheel will fit
The 250 engine is just to flat.
I need more power

Here's the thread on it-
http://my.is/forums/f156/is250-2jz-v...runnin-418446/

they used an automatic transmission though (and wired up the paddles to shift it)... everything was custom to make it fit/work except the lower radiator hose (reused from a Mk4)... he supposedly was able to get rid of all the dash lights OTHER than VSC (so likely no TC either-and certainly no VDIM if you start with an 09 or newer 250)

Second thread on it, that mentions the estimate that the guy easily had over 200 hours labor into the swap, is here:

I would pay some serious cheese to have a 2jz tt in a 2IS body. It would have to have the manual transmission somehow moved over too though.

My pal imports cars and parts from Japan.so I could get a 2jz-get vvti engine and loom quite cheap and put it in one off his container's. Mmm sound like a plan.
