Hi guys,

Looking for anyone in Vegas that's more knowledgable than me to help replace my d4s bulbs, because they are going out. Will bring beer.

Thanks,

Kyle

december is a little late, i'd probably have a ticket by then. haha. I was reading the threads myself, but it seems like it may be a bit more complicated than just opening the hood and unscrewing the light. from what i read i have to take out the wiper fluid hose and the stock air compartment to get to them.

It's not that bad. The hose is basically just another bolt to remove. You don't have to remove the intake box; I did mine without taking it out.

No. The hose just runs down to the container that holds the wiper fluid. You unscrew the bolt, and just tug it upwards and it comes out.

i'll be there towards the end of the month for EDC iono if u could wait that long plus i'll most likely wont be sober. its pretty easy bro, search for a diy headlight, the only tools u will need is a socket wrench, and a socket extention to get to the bolts for the intake box, and a 14mm socket (i think).

I bought my D4S bulbs online and took the car to national chain car repair and they switched them out for me and only charge labor ($55-$65).

It's really pretty basic. Removing the wiper fluid filler stem is just one 10mm bolt and gives access to the headlight opening (and no, it won't leak). Removing the air filter box isn't required but makes it a LOT easier to access. This is also pretty simple. Three or 4 10mm bolts. The driver's side is a tight opening for somebody with big hands like me but still very simple. Total time to replace both sides start to finish is maybe 30-40 mins if you don't know what you're doing.

This is one of those things that you really need to do yourself...

Here's the DIY: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...hid-bulbs.html

^^I just changed my bulbs a couple of days ago and I was looking for this exact DIY.

This is not a hard DIY, but I highly suggest you remove the air box, it makes things a lot easier.

i did it myself to swap out to garax 6000k bulbs. It is really not hard and you can do it yourself. I recommend taking out the airbox too since it is easier to swap bulb. Also you get to know how to replace engine air filter later.
