the 2011s 250s, without HIDS dont have black out housing i believe..

hmm. dont notice any bubbling on my car.
Wont this be an issue.. lets say 3 years from now? like maybe the black fading.. and in this case bubbling?

 

hey guys, today I stopped at the lexus dealer to check out the 2011 IS headlights, and their are about seven ISs including the 2011 ISF, and all the headlights are having paint bubbling on the corner the projector at, look like that area it hard to paint? but all them the seven ISs headlights has paint bubbling

 

not noticeable unless your staring at em or looking for it

I'm sure they will figure it out though and when they do ill get new ones ... untill then ill try not to look when i wash it.

 

I think someone have to call lexus coproparation and mention them about the headlights for them fix.

 

aww mans. i noticed it on mine today as well. womp womp. not as bad as yours in the pic. but definitely noticeable when looking for it. hope lexus gets this fixed

 

I forget to get a look at mine, this sucks.

 

Ive painted several headlight housings with krylon fusion and used 4500k, and 6k 55w HIDS and never seen this happen. I hope they fix this, if it happens to mine, Im taking it back everytime it bubbles up.

darnit guys. i went out to check mine and both heads have some paint bubbling. what the hell..

 

Just checked mine - nothing yet. I'm sure it's too early still...I have 3500 miles on the car. I will keep watching though for sure. Keep us updated Ken.

I think whose ever company make the headlights didn't check bazel parts before they put them together? I check at my local Lexus dealer, and their are seven ISs including ISF has that paint bubbling at that corner hope that won't flake or pell off later.

 

That sucks man.. I'm sure they will figure it out.

My car only has 3200 miles on it and the one guy said they are on the lot like that already... ill definately keep you updated though
