Wow, I just checked my headlights and it's starting to bubble.

Car has 5K miles on it and I just did the 5K complimentary oil change over the weekend. I should have asked them about it since I was there doing the oil change.

defective paint job look like 99% of the 2011 IS headlights has bubbling on both corners? it started from small bubble and become bigger? look like they could not get the paint right at the corner? I hope someone call Lexus corporate to complaint

The 2011 headlamps I bought from Sewell and put on my car six weeks ago have this defect as well. The lights have a 1-year warranty, but I do not want to replace them until this issue gets fixed.

I called Lexus customer service. They suggested I go to a dealer, have them look at it and get the problem documented in the system. He also recommended I email Lexus customer service (link is on the Lexus website under contact us) and email a photo of the problem. The Lexus rep seemed very knowledgeable and said the more people that go to their dealer and get this documented the quicker Lexus will look into this and hopefully work on a solution.

The rep also said when issues get documented early, Lexus realizes it's a defect from the start and not a problem that occurs over time.

So... everybody go to your dealer to report the problem and email Lexus!

Ok so I was wrong when I checked the other day. Mine are pretty messed up too. I talked to my friend in the service department and he said obviously they haven't heard anything, he's gonna look in to it and that for dealers this is good news. Here are a couple pics...not the best but all I could get this morning.
