Ahh, I cant say they did or didnt but it sure looks like it was done with a tool or machine vs a curb. If you knew your wheels had no scratches, then Id sure as hell try to get them to replace or repair it.

Looks like installer error or the equipment they used is not the correct one.
There should not be actual wheel contact with the equipemnt except the part which is holding the wheel in. Unless they are using the old machines which is used to pry from the old days steel wheels, oh oh!
For instance, my installer uses this.
