Default Allow myself to introduce.....myself!

Whats up guys, this is my first post as a proud new IS350 owner. I just bought an immaculate '06 with 48k on the clock owned by some 'older' folks. I've had it for 10 days now and have a new love. I haven't had a "sports" car for about 5 years now and its good to be back in the saddle....even though my wife will be driving it most of the time! My only gripe so far is the fact that I got so excited when I decided to buy this car I did not do a high quality research job....am I stupid for ASSuming that a $40k luxury car would automatically have HIDs in every package from the dealer??? Oh well, got a nice kit on the way, problem solved.

Just some background on what I've been driving over the last 10 years....
Bought the IS to replace a 2001 X5(for sale) which my wife drove for the last 5 years. my daily is a 2006 F250 turbo diesel, im in construction so have to drive the truck. before the x5 and truck (both bought in 06) I had a highly modded 550whp 03 Evo that i bought used in 2003. Before the evo I drove a 1993 Nissan 300zx turbo with 510rwhp, had to sell it to buy the evo because my daughter was born and I wanted a backseat, both cars were awesome and if I can post pics in this forum I shall do so.

Sorry about the long winded post, I'm glad to be here and look forward to learning everything there is to know about my IS.....

Jeff

Wow, nice to hear from you bro. I am actually down in the Kingsland/St Marys area....about 90 miles south of you. You in sales or service?

Welcome! Love the wheels on your 300Z...

FYI-
For 2006 model year though HIDs only came with 2ISes that got the Sport or Luxury package.

Starting in 2007 it was also available as a stand-alone option, but still didn't come on the base model.

Thank you, and Thank you! And I learned that, the day I got home with it and found out it was HIDless.....extremely disappointing.
