I don't think anyone has gone HID in their high beam housing, and for good reason.

Here's 6000K HID lows and fogs with 6000K LED parking lights: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...fogs-pics.html

I think i recalled seeing one in the show off ur drl link. Probly the same car^. just wondering if they would function at 50% like stock bulbs and 100% when hi beams. If so i wanna do 6000k lo/hi beams & 3000k low.

^ No. HID bulbs are either on or off, they aren't designed to run at a reduced voltage like halogen bulbs. If you did go HID in your high beams, you should disable the DRL functionality to avoid damaging the HID components.

IMO, HID high beams would only be useful for lengthly rural nighttime driving, and I can't image that applies to many on this forum. Using your high beams to flash people would also be a bad idea since the constant on and off is bad for the ballasts.

I have HID lowbeam and fogs.
I just leave my lights on all the time so my drls never come on.
so my "drls" are my low / fog lights.
its also nice so my lights dont change when I go under a dark bridge.
