FYI, i bought my 2008 is350 with 11k on it, x- package, perfect condition for $29,900 a year ago. Carmax was the cheapest I could find at the time, i drove about 2 hours to go see the car and picked it up the same day.

In April '11 in flew up to NJ and drove my "new" 350 back home. The Carolinas market for Lexus sucks, and unless you get out of that box you won't get a deal. If you want to get a deal and save some green, check out some in FL/AL/GA/VA.

In my case I took a chance and purchased the car without personally being able to thoroughly go through it on-site. Luckily the full car history was available thanks to the Carfax and the Lexus website. Of course I had ALOT of pictures sent to me before the flight out there, but that's a far cry from visiting it locally.

The deal I got was for a '06 IS350 with 31k miles with Sports pkg + memory seats + NAV. Check it...paid <$21k OTD!

So you bought an 06 in 06 for 21k? I find that hard to believe. A car like he is talking about goes for 25-27 in Atlanta depending on condition and packages.

When it comes down to it, they'll adjust accordingly just like any dealership will. I bought from an Autolenders in NJ which basically is the same thing and the price moved about 3k as well as taking a more-than-healthy sum for my trade.

I actually just bought my IS350 from CarMax about 3 months ago. I got it with 38,000 miles loaded luxury package, nav w/ ML for $27,200. Of course i tried to bargain but CarMax just wont budge. Damn no haggle pricing.. But hope this helps a little!

Not sure if this applies to you, but Carmax definitely does negotiate on trade-in value. That's your best bet if buying from one of these "no-haggle" places.

I traded my '10 IS 250 for my '09 IS350 w/ nav, heated cooled seats etc and ended up getting a great deal on my 09'. $31,600 w/ 11,800 miles. Got it at Lexus of Knoxville in Tn.
