Default Pics of our "new" baby

Hi all!

I Just purchased a 2008 CPO IS350 and thought I’d share…very excited to be part of this community and learning from everyone here.

I’ll start out with a few questions…since the car is a 2008, I know it’s not going to be perfect. Here are some initial questions that I could use some help understanding:

• Whenever we turn off the AC, there is an unpleasant odor that comes through the vents (kinda like gym socks), when we turn the AC back on, it goes away.
• The car only came with one keyfob. What’s the most affordable way to get a 2nd with the full capabilities of the 1st?
• The car came with the X Package which includes upgraded wheels, sport suspension, and illuminated door sills. I actually prefer the lobster claw wheels. I guess I could see if anyone wants to trade once I’m eligible to post in the classifieds. I’m in Northern CA. Also, not so fond of the stiff suspension, is that something that can be swapped, or traded for relatively easily?

Sorry for the abundance of questions in one post…just very excited about the car!

Thanks for the feedback on the air quality...I love it when the fix is easy!

I just placed an order for this wix cabin filter...$10 on Amazon, is it the same one?

Does this mean that someone's "used" key fob can be reprogrammed to work with my car? Or are you saying something else?

welcome and congrats on the car. I am sure you will enjoy it a lot.

As far as the lobster wheels go, you can just do a trade with a local forum member. I am sure you can get that done pretty easily.

the x package does come with a stiffer ride. do a swap with another user with the regular suspension if u want a softer ride. You can also purchase a stock suspension if from the classified section.

Good luck with everything!
