20k for an 07 w/90k miles is laughable to me.

from all my recent searching that seems high. You should be able to get something with around 40-50K miles for that price.

I paid $22K for 53K miles.
I'm sure you can find another one with less miles.

Thanks everyone, this was VERY helpful!
I offered 15K, thinking they may come back with 16K.
The dealer laughed in my face!
But I'm not the one trying to sell a vehicle for $20,688 with 90K on it...so who is laughing.
I will look for a better deal!
thanks again everyone

Haha I'm sorry but on a car listed at $20k, I could have told you offering a price $5,000 off that would definitely get you laughed out of the door. That just doesn't sound like someone who should be taken seriously. But even worse is to expect they'd come back automatically at $4,000 lower. Dealers don't work in those types of increments.

I hope at least you backed it up with print-outs of comparable listings and price info.

Keep your eye out on Autotrader and Cars.com for a better deal. You might even find in a few weeks this car marked down.
