I really need help with Tail Lights!
Hey i know there are a lot of threads about the Ebay LED tail lights and how to install them, BUT they are all scattered around so it gets a little hard trying to figure out exactly what to do. I have a 2008 IS 250 and i know with the 2008s, when u install the lights there are a bunch of warning lights that come on. I know you need to install a resistor but does anyone who did this know what type of resistor I need to buy? any other advice about install these lights before i buy them would be great too
thanks

I put a set on.
was very easy. No resistor... no warning lights.
4 bolts hold on the outside taillight, and 3 hold on the inside taillight.
plug and play. no extras needed.
took me about 30 minutes to complete.
here is a pic of them on & off.
I have also since carbon fiber'd my reflectors.

When I installed my "IS-F" style tails I had problems cause the harness supplied didn't hook up directly to my factory harness. I've spoke to a few people on CL that had the same issue, there were also some people that claimed that the harness that was supplied hooked up to their factory harness. From what I understand I think the harness was changed between some years which according to some ppl on CL could of been the reason some worked out of the box, and others had to modify the harness itself.
I have an 07 though.
