They put 1 version older than my original lights on mine. I had the eyelids on mine and the lights I got after don't. I will have to wait and see now if they bubble again

Just got mines replaced and picked up my car not too long ago, so far so good but then again I only drove it from the stealership and back home. I'll see how it turns out tomorrow.

How long does it take for the dealership to install and do they keep the parts in stock?

The reason I ask is because I have this problem in a big way and live a fair distance from a dealership so leaving the car etc would not be fun.

Thanks

It took about 4 hrs and they had to order the headlight prior to the install which took about a week. They will give you a loaner vehicle like they gave me.

I just got mines replaced on my 2011. Took them just 1 day to get them, I was told that lexus at one point had about 3 different part numbers but is now is just one. I will Provided the part number tomorrow. These new ones have a gloss black film now.

Ah, ok, thanks. I may try emailing some pictures to the service manager and convince him to get them ordered May work.

Thanks for the info.

Pictures? Why? Is a known issue there is a TSB for that there shouldn't be no questions asked. Unless you are out of warranty by a lot or ur car doesn't quality for the TSB.

Like ULTSISF was saying, no need to do all of that. Just head there and mention TSB for the issue

We took delivery of a 2011 IS 350C on April 1, 2011. Noticed the bubbling after this thread was started and replaced ours after the 2012 models came out. Those bubbled as well and I wasn't going to change out till we approached the end of warrantty. Was getting ready to make that appointment thinking my warranty expires at the end of the month. However, after checking, I still have another year of warranty. woo hoo!! Guess I'll just wait another 11 mo and then get them replaced with fresh lights.

Wife still loves her car!

So I just noticed my lights are starting to bubble on the passenger side again. This time I am taking in the TSB with me to show them the right light to order.

No need for that, dealer knows the issue.

They knew the issue last time and put older lights back in. This time I will make sure they order the correct lights.

Not taking any chances this time. http://jeff.supramania.com/is250/tsb/L-SB-0005-12.pdf
Page three lists the part numbers.
