Default Red Tail Light Film MY 2009-2010

I have recently purchased the MotoGFX red tail light film MY 09-10 (link below). Does anyone have experience with this product or something similar? I can't find a DIY.

Assuming it's similar to the Aerotect redouts, just take a solution of soapy water, splash it on the taillight, and position the redout properly (the soapy water acts as a lubricant so you can move the film around a bit). Make sure there are no bubbles.

I have this. Very good product. What the above person say plus have a blow dryer ready too. Do the back first then the sides. Becareful with the sides. Make sure it lines up good before you wipe and dry. Also tip for you is when you wash and clean ur car be careful around the corners as you could lift it up ..enjoy

Thanks guys appreciate the feedback. I'm a little worried about the sharp lines but hopefully it will be fine.

Anyone know what type of vinyl this? Im thinking of picking some up at local shop and masking off the black widow looking things on the trunk lights to have a normal rectangle reverse light...

The 09-10 are a little more difficult to do but it's still pretty straight forward. you don't need a blowdryer. Let it dry on it's own over a few days.

I clean the tails with rubbing alcohol. Then dip the entire redout into soapy water. Place it on and squeegee out from the centre. Do the same with the side piece. Let it dry by itself.
