Default Changing AT Gear Shifter/****

Hey Guys

Is it simple enough to remove and change the auto gear shifter?

I was looking at getting the ISF perforated type to replace my standard one.

Not sure if anyone has done this before, then again maybe not even worth the mod spending $100 to have the same **** but with holes.

^ Yeah, it's just screwed on. Turn the **** counterclockwise and it'll come off.

Don't be afraid to use a bit of force since it's screwed on tight. When re-installing the new ****, you can use locktight if you are afraid it'll come loose on you.

Have you considered the F-Sport ****?? That way you would be paying for more than just holes

Plus its cheaper, $70 on sewell

^ I wish they made the F-Sport **** without the blue stitching. The stitching doesn't contrast with anything in my stock black interior. :/

Same here... but I got it anyways

I even kept it when I switched over from my black CF wrap to the ISF Silver CF interior ... so it matches noting now

The f-sport **** made a huge difference with my interior compared with the oem one. The **** sits fairly low.

that's why I'd buy the IS-F one over the F-sport...don't like the blue stitching and it doesn't go with anything in any of the interior colors on the 2IS... though it's also pretty goofy that the "stock" IS-F one cost more than the aftermarket part I've no idea.

You could always get the F-Sport shift **** and then change everything else in your interior so that it matches.

The IS-F **** is simply the regular IS **** with perforation in the leather, right?

Yup. It matches the perforated seats nicely for those that want a real subtle mod.

I put a perforated leather shift **** in yesterday to match my new flat bottomed steering wheel. Too **** to have a perforated steering wheel without a perforated shift ****. And honestly it's barely noticeable. But it makes me feel much better having matching interior. But it's something that isn't noticeable or really that cool. But i would have been bothered looking at my mismatched interior every day.
