Default Cheap ebay 3000k Yellow HID Kit??

Hey guys, i am looking for any hid kit that are not too expensive from ebay with a good yellow 3000k output. Please help. The reason i asked is because i got a 3000k hid kit before and it was nothing close to yellow. Please let me know the brand and maybe the seller if possible. I am trying to convert my IS350 fogs over to HID. Thanks

Check out the vendors section here, or try DDM Tuning. Cheap eBay HID's are usually crap quality and won't last long. I used to have DDM Tuning's for a while, both 6k headlights and 3k fogs. The 3K fogs were definitely a deep yellow. The type of housing the HID's are in matter too, and can change how the light is outputted.

i made an mistake by purchasing an ebay kit. the output was greenish yellow because of the crappy ballasts. i returned it after a week and just purchased bulbs only from ebay and running oem ballasts. oem ballasts will last forever!

Yeah, don't go cheap, you'll end up wasting your money like me. I first bought an HID kit from HIDeXta but sold it since I wanted to change to 5000k instead of 6000k. Their kits aren't too expensive and are very good quality. When I looked for 5000k kits, HIDeXtra raised their prices and I bought kits off eBay. The ballasts are fine but the bulbs flicker like crazy. So I ordered bulbs on eBay and the new ones are better but still flicker. Just last week, I bought again an HID kit for my fogs off eBay. This ones flickers too. So in the future, I'm going to spend another $60 on bulbs from HIDeXtra since I cheaped out.

So yeah, don't go cheap and buy something better to not be disappointed. Also, for HIDs it tough to find a bulbs that produces a golden yellow like halogens. Most give out a greenish light. Try HIDeXtra or DDMTuning, they offer the best kits for the money IMO.

Here's the DDM Tuning 3K fogs on my Prelude, right after I put them on, the color changed slightly as it burned in.

Is there a big difference between the ddm tuning 35w kits vs the 55w kits?

Don't get them off eBay, get them from DDM Tuning, which actually has a customer service department and offers a warranty. I got my 35W 3000K HID kit for my fogs from them for $40. You likely won't beat that on eBay. It was an easy install, and everything works and looks great. No reason to go 55W.

I am also running DDM 3000k fogs the kit is nice quality for the money but make sure u get the slim ballasts mine are super small almost the size of a credit card. I will say however i wasnt impressed by the color of the bulbs it wasnt yellow enough so i got some yellow film for my fogs and now it looks awesome.

I concur with everything above. I got the slim ballasts, and at the time I got them they were the only option, so maybe that's a new thing. The bulbs are definitely yellow but overlays will help achieve a yellower look if that's what you want.

I am trying to avoid using film overlay. Does anyone has 3000K pictures without the overlay films?

I was trying to avoid it also but it was the only way for me to get the yellow i wanted and i really like it now, sometimes i kinda wish i had just done the film and some nokya bulbs instead and saved a few bucks.

What about a color that matches the stock HID of the is350? I just wanted better lighting.
