I don't get this but it's your opinion so roll with it. 2011 F-Sport edition looks better straight from the factory than any other 2IS past or present (including IS-F with the whale-hood), but that's my opinion ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
My lease is up in 2014 so I would look at either 3IS-F or GS, but I think I will stick with Lexus. As much as I hear all the praise for the superior "drivability" and better low-end torque of the BMW's I can't bring myself to accept that bland interior and horrific reliability.

Otherwise, the 911 is looking pretty slick right now.

By all means offer the F-sport package as an additional appearance package, but let folks add it (for half the listed price since it wouldn't otherwise contain much but some badging and the seats) to the "real" sport package.
I also hate the turn signals on the mirrors, the LED strips on the headlights, and the changes to the front/rear lights and bumpers they made in 09 then again in 11.... and the fact they dropped AFS and PCS and removed half the memory seat function from the car all for 2011.
Oh, and 2008 had the best looking stock wheels too.
hence my concern Lexus is heading in the totally wrong direction.
But yeah, it's all opinion either way.
Let's try to be a bit optimistic
I know that Lexus isn't particularly interested in pushing the manual, but a very small part of me hopes that their effort to build more driving focused cars (F-Sport pkg, IS-F, the LFA and the rumored GS-F) results in a manual transmissioned IS.
Otherwise, the 911 is looking pretty slick right now.

That's not pessimistic... if they're going to more performance focused cars that reinforces the idea they'd use the uber-fast shifting tech in the IS-F, not the 1953-era clutch-based manuals that some folks are still installing in german cars

Even Porsche has realized where the future of performance is... the fastest of any model with all choices does not have a clutch pedal, it has a PDK.
