Default navigation with video question

So, I am currently trying to buy a 2008 IS 250. I want a navigation system and video player in my car. I wasn't sure the best scenario to approach this.

A) Out right buy an IS 250 with Navi and ML just so I can have the DVD player. So I can play video. I don't even want the ML... oh wellz price I pay for dvd player...

B) Buy the base model, and install aftermarket navi like fly audio... which comes with dvd player. Only gripe I have about fly audio is no LED clock on the navi... wtf... seriously... otherwise I'd love to go this route.

C) Has anyone found a way or mod that can convert the standard Navi through some wiring to play video? not through the cd player... but via say Ipod touch? or Iphone or some other device?
Or best option would be some how send the video signal from my Iphone direct to navi, would be awesome... and sound goes through car.

Thanks in advance for the help.
