Default XM radio

Hi i bought and is 250 about a month ago and i had a question about the radio, when i park under a car port or drive under an overpass, the satellite seems to lose reception. I was curious to see if this happens to everyone else cause it doesn't happen in my parents cars... Thanks

Yes, that is normal.

Some radios include a small amount of buffer that delays the reciept of signal long enough to let you get under an underpass etc without losing it, and others use land-based repeaters to avoid this.

The inbuilt tuner in the 250/350 doesn't have either of these.
