Ebay spoiler color question..
So i plan to purchases this spoiler
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/06-10...ht_2442wt_1165
From my Lexus paperwork the color of my car is "Smoky Granite Mica"
but what they sell on ebay is painted "Smoky Granite PrL" 1G0
Are those the same colors?
Also how hard is it to install one of these spoilers?

Probably just a mistake there on the paint code.
The ebay spoilers usually don't come with bolts, you just stick the spoiler down using 3M double sided tape. It's actually very strong tape, but make sure you get an extra roll of it from the store and apply more before you install it. It's the 3M red colored double sided tape, usually says molding/trim tape on it, find it at Autozone/PepBoys/etc. You an use some 3M adhesive promoter (harder to find) if you want an even better bond.

You can't really...You tape it onto the rear window. Unless you want to drill holes in your window, I wouldn't bolt down. The tape is very very strong. You don't really have to worry about it coming apart. I've had mine on for about a year now, and it's still a firm hold.

You can't bolt it down if it doesn't come with bolts though, you'd have to find one that comes with bolts, or get the OEM one.

Yes 3M tape is all you need, it will hold. Mine is being held on by it perfectly fine. Just apply enough of it, do it when its hot outside and give it a good press on there too. Be careful, once it touches the car, its really hard to get it off, gotta get it right the first time.

Hey guys. I just purchased a eBay factory spoiler for the trunk. The color was perfect 1G1. It came with 3 bolts and the template to drill the holes. It was pretty easy wish I would of made a DIY. The spoiler looks perfect. Total cost $109 painted and shipped. You just need a drill, drill bit, masking tape, a punch and small hammer. Total time 35 minutes.
