Alot of work. Well done. I know that wheel hop from the SC has to be giving you grief. I recall in my type-s that teeth rattling wheel hop. And tq steer pissed me off to no end. I finally sold my comptech SC, parted out, went RWD instead of FWD and am happy for once.
I do miss rowing through the gears though & hearing the SC whine like a typical woman.

Nice clean cars! I always loved the EG and EK hatches. I would pick up an EG hatch but theft here in Cali is no joke. These cars are too easy to steal and I have many friends who had their Civics stolen, only to find a stripped car or nothing at all. I admire your OCD'ness about making it as new again as possible. I would have done the same thing.

Ah I remember when I had my civic and IS at the same time, but due to 3 attempted thefts, I had to sell my civic and daily my IS. You lucked out on that find. Both cars are clean, can't wait to see what's next for them.

So, depending your lauching/shifting skills in the Civic I'd assume a similar if not faster time with the Civic.
My Civic "race hatch" was definitely faster...400+whp D-series gutted VX hatch. Fun, but not really even streetable. Parted it out and just recently sold the hatch. But...I've still got the '95 coupe! LOL
