Default Need some help [Tint recommendations]

I just bought a 2011 is350 Star Fire Pearl F Sport and am going to get a clear bra installed on Thursday. He is also going to tint my windows and need some suggestions on the percentage. Should i do the same all around like 35% or should i do light on up front to darker to the rear? I have been trying to search and see how it looks with the different variations but cant find it on the Star Fire. Also it is illegal for the fronts in CaLi so i would be risking the fronts Whata u think?

You should gradient it. I'm running 15% in the rear and 50% in the front. Passed by plenty of cops and have never been hassled.

i like 35% all around.
or go with 35% front doors, and all rears in 20-25%.

I have 15% rear window and 25% all around(the 4 doors). whatever you choose.. make sure the 4 doors are the same shade cause is not gonna look clean if you chose other wise IMO.

I had 20% all around, but I got ticketed for it, so I had to get them off. In retrospect, I would have done 35% on the doors like both my cousins who did theirs the same time I did. Neither of them has been hassled for it.

Thanks guys. I like the idea of 35% all around but i wish i could view it before they make it permanent.LOL. I think the 35 up front and 20 in the rear would look weird. Such a hard decision thanks for the advice

I have 30% on my front windows and 15% on the rears because it is Florida's darkest legal. I don't think it looks as bad as many say.

It's probably my blackberry camera pictures. The 3.2 MP isn't good for blowing up pictures. They look a lot lighter in person.

i personally like 20% all around. I just got my dad's new car tinted 2 days ago and although we like 20% the best, its illegal to tint the front windows. So we settled for 35% all around which isnt dark so hopefully he wont run into trouble with the cops. But honestly i think its too light in the daytime. when the sun goes down or when its cloudy it looks good though

I actually helped my friend tint his SFP IS250 with 35% all around using eBay tints two days ago. I did the same on my Obisidian IS350 with 35% all around too. However, on his white IS250, the tint looks super dark when it doesn't on my black IS350. I think 35% all around is the best shade, especially for white. You won't be disappointed with it IMO.

I have 20% on the entire front windshield.
And limo on all other windows.

May I suggest limo on all windows though. 20% on my front windshield gets annoying cause it's lighter then my other windows and my eyes have to adjust to the lighter colored trees, ect...
One member here that is in Texas did limo on every single window and he loves it.

I thought most reputable places show you different tints and even hold it in front of your car before you need to make a decision.

+1 for 35% all around. That's what I have and I love it! At first I thought it was not dark enough, but now I think it is perfect.
