Gidi, you can use the steering wheel controls. I don't work for Vais and of course check with them cause my buddy MAY have hacked his ML+ but yea he was able to control volume and move from track to track as well as folder to folder with long press on the next track buttons all from his steering wheel.
Can't confirm that yet. I'm sorry CCJ22.

And thanks for answering Gidiguy's question about the steering wheel control!

Will the new droid solution be compatible with Mark Levinson system (2009 non HDD model)? If user switch to Iphone (Ox OS) will it require a complete change of the Vais unit or this new droid solution will work with apple products as well?

Thanks!

I've thought about this... I speculate the new Android vaistech product will only work on Droids with hdmi output... I realize iphones don't come with that but there are peripherals u can buy that gives iphones hdmi out capability if I'm not mistaken. And if u had such peripheral i don't see why the new vaistech Android product wouldn't work. But I'll wait to see what vais says of course, do don't take what i say as set in stone.

Android system will be a new product from us. We plan to have it out in June-July this year. It will work with HDMI out Android phone in the beginning. As far as vehicle compatibility, it will work with all 5th and 6th Gen nav systems. We will posting more pictures and information closer to release. Thanks everyone for your interest!

What's the difference between 5th and 6th gen NAV? Would either one fit a 2007 is250? I bought my car without a navi and I want to purchase one to install ML+. Also where can I buy a 5th or 6th gen NAV?

I think the 6th gen is on post 09 models with hard drive, Bluetooth also has A2DP capability.
