yeah use a plastic chisel to remove the tape or a plastic knife. Thank God i didn't scratch the paint while using it. Just be careful.

Yup, like people above said, redo it. I put double-sided tape on the edge of my roof spoiler and when I installed it, I was standing behind my car and noticed the tape since it's grey and made car is black with tints. I thought I could deal with it but eventually redone it with tape in the center and black polyurethane glue on the edges.

If it bugged you enough that you had to post it, it will eat you up alive until you redo it!!

To remove it, put some goo gone on it, let it soak for 10-15 minutes, and then slide dental floss or fishing line underneath the tape. Use the goo gone to get rid of any residue before re-installing, with ONE layer of tape.

redo is must! use heat gun, very easy to take it off.

Hey guys , i got so irrittaed, this morning at 5 am i redid it.. i tried some spray on lubericant in the cracks of the spoiler, used some floss and it slid right thru.. had to remove all that 3m tape under the spoiler.. took about an hour and a half, but i slept good afterwards LOL

Next time park your car under hot sun then pull the spoiler out, that was how my friend's spoiler got jacked
