^^ should be no problem. 3m tape will leave marks if its been on there for a long time but can be easily clean with special remover

i bought mine from ebay too, i have a slight gap like yours but i bought it unpainted and had the body shop paint it instead since they were fixing my bumper. it still lookks good to me.

Did you have SFP or GFM? Those two colors are VERY hard to duplicate... Unless LEXUS did it ofcourse.
