2008 IS350 One cup holder?
#3
To be honest, I don't even use the cup holder. It interferes with the shift **** when I don't want to use the paddle shifters. I thought there was another one located when you slide the arm rest, but even that becomes an issue when you want to use the arm rest. There are those VIP tables that can hold bottles of water and beverages, but most, though very good quality and build, carry a nice price tag, too.

Yeah, the IS has four drink holders.
1 in each front door pocket... 2 in the center console... (though I agree the second one there isn't awesome... but really, even 3 should be 1 more than you need)
While I grant the door ones are mainly bottles that's all I let any passenger have in the car anyway

If I need to carry a second drink (not bottled) I pull down the rear armrest and pull out the two cup holders there. I don't use the one in the center console - that's storage space. Never been a problem. Passengers don't complain cuz they're riding in the Lex!
If I wanted more cup holders I would have bought a mini-van...

There's a divider that slides into the center console. It's also the reason the lid on the center console slides back a few inches and locks. It's just enough to reach in and grab the cup out if you use that divider (it's removable, I took mine out.)
