New member here, after I sold my 2003 IS300 (sport edition with full leather, 5sp manual, VLSD etc...) I went with a Corolla because I worked a bit further and having no warranty on a vehicle pretty much sucks, lower ball joints at 300$ cost price!? Crazyness! Anyways! I was going to buy a CT200h but the 5 month wait made me go IS350 AWD! I bought it with the NAV and SUNROOF, Starfire pearl and I love everything about it! Lowered it on F sport wheels from day 1, with 5% tint all around and it's stunning! The color is beautiful!
Just a few pics, I'm getting a photoshoot done with a few other buddies (like my buddy in the background) will post new pics soon!
Just wanted to say Hi! Been reading a lot for the past 2 years (Got rid of my IS300 back in January 2010, and the forumboards almost got me to turbo the car! Thank god I came to my sences!
)
There will be plenty more to come with the car over time! Stay tuned
More cosmetic for the time being...

Well I missed having a bit of power, and owning a 95 240SX for 5 years with 310RWHP, i miss the feel of the pick up...
But, I did enjoy the gas savings of the Corolla! CT was going to be more cosmetic (white, slammed on black chrome VS-KF, CF roof, limo tint) I even thought of air bagging the CT, but I didnt want to wait 5 months, wanted it NOW lol... So for the time being (I will sell the IS350 next year around this time, before the new model comes out)
Then, who knows, maybe an FT86
I change cars every year almost, sometimes less, my 240SX was the only car I've owned for 5 years, but at the time I've owned many daily drivers)

Nice Ride! It's exquisite! I should have waited for the IS350 AWD... I'm stuck with my IS250 AWD and it's a turtle ![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Anyhow i'm ready to trade in my IS250 but I have learned to wait and think about it first. My very first car was a Dodge Charger then totalled it lol... Fell in love with that Charger so decided to wait for the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 to come out. I'll just drive my wife's Q7 for winter time

Just out of curiosity, can you explain your reasoning? The prices and values of models that have just been updated/refreshed typically fall fairly significantly as soon as the new models come out. So why would you want to buy a brand new IS and then sell it right at the time the new model comes out, which will coincide with 2IS prices and values falling? This in addition to the huge depreciation taken on a brand new car in general.

I'm sure I'll find someone to take my car
I'm not really worried about the sale of the vehicle at the time... I wanted an IS350 so I went out and bought it, don't really care what will happen next year. I'm 95% sure I will sell it within 2-3 weeks, yes the depreciation will hit me, but nothing that I've already witnessed in the past. But it won't affect me that much
Maybe I'll even get the 3IS
