What's the longest the puddle lights can stay on?
Can we extend the time they stay on?

I'd like to know as well. Love looking at my V Leds while it's dark out haha!

30 seconds. The default is 15 seconds. This setting can be changed only by a dealership through adjusting your Lexus Personalized Settings (LPS): https://www.clublexus.com/forums/att...ttings-rev.pdf

See page 3 "EX LIGHT TIME."

Technically, the dealership is only required to change your LPS settings for free once (if you buy your car new or CPO). However, if you ask them to make this little change while you're going in for service (or if you have a great relationship with them), I imagine most won't charge you.

I was wondering if a Toyota dealership could change the settings?

Damn! Mine are definitely set at 15 seconds and it sucks, 30 seconds would be so much better, sadly i have no reason to go to the dealership anytime soon unless I get the credit card keycard lol

Maybe we should have a thread about features that can be done through LPS. Things like this would be nice for those who are still under warranty. I wonder if I can get them to do it for free when I'm having them doing my smart key as well...

^ Or you could just click on the PDF I posted that lists every possible LPS setting.

Or search: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-settings.html

Sorry Brociouz, I should have said past the 30 second setting. Maybe with a relay? Or maybe tied to parking lights? (which I don't even know how long those stay on)
Anyone have any ideas?

^ You could just run a separate wire if you really wanted to. But it would be tough to get it to work when it's supposed to (as you approach the door, when you unlock, etc.).

^ Hey Josh, how about wiring them to the center front dome light? Do your VIP puddles turn on as you approach the car?
