The infiniti sounds alrite.. my car does that all the time when when it back fires .. just gotta have the right setup. it gets really annoying most of the time now, sounds good but damn freaks me out most of the time lol.. ANd hell yes the ISF, kind of hard to compare it to the x50 and any six cylinders lol

i love the g35 sound (with the hks exhaust) and the sound is so distinct that whenever i hear a g35 or 350z i can distinctly tell them apart from any other car

that said,

why would u want your is350 to sound like a g35....

drop a vq if u really wanted to, or get a g35 as a daily / weekend car.

I agree with you that the G35, 350Z, and also the FX sound very unique and their exhaust are the best of any stock car out there. I'm not trying to make it sound like a G35, the one in the video doesn't sound like the regular G35 with those mods, I just want to find out if my IS350 can do the same popping sounds. I would love to get a G35 but it's outdated now and I'd have to get a G37 with the better looks but they got rid of the exhaust! Next cars I have in mind are either a 335xi or C300 in 2-3 years when I'm about to be out of college.

^ That's like asking if something is going to taste too sweet. It's all personal preference. It shouldn't be as loud as a midpipe setup.

FWIW, I have an F-Sport exhaust+intake and Invidia midpipe and I get the occasional pop when slowing down. It's seemingly random and happens maybe 20% of the time.

Oh yeah, I'm sure I will. I'm installing the midpipe I got the last week and I didn't finish yet since one bolt is rounded and rusted on good. I'm currently driving with the midpipe disconnected to the axle-back and it is freaking loud. Every time I accelerate, the drone gets real bad and sometimes the drink in my cup holder starts making vibration sounds. I love the deep sound and loud noise but I hate hearing it everytime I drive.

So true, that's an apples to oranges comparision if ever there was.
