What's the price u paid for 30k service ?

oil change w/ filter ~$50 (synthetic)
Cabin + Engine air filter ~$30
Flush brake fluid ~$Get your shop to do it
No one on CL typically uses the dealership for these "recommended" service intervals, rather they do the required maintenance themselves or somewhere else. Lexus dealerships have quite the up-charge and charge for a lot of little "checks" that arent really worth it. These cars are solid, I'd not worry about a dealership 30k service

Mine is due soon so I called my dealership for a quote. Keep in mind this is in Vancouver Canada.
Lexus where I bought my car quoted $525 plus tax.
Alternate Lexus quoted $500 plus tax.
Toyota dealership, after printing out the service description and giving it to them quoted $185 taxes in.
This is for my IS250 awd. Some people won't go to anything else except the Lexus dealership. Some people will do it themselves. Some will even take it to the local mechanic. It's all up to you on what you want to do.

I did the 30k service myself which includes oil change, engine filter (swapped fsport intake), cabin filters (not dirty at all, so i saved the money). The only thing else is brakes fluid flush which Lexus recommends, but my brake fluids are still very clear, so I'm just changing the pads.
Hence, the 30k serivice isnt really major at all imo. Dont let the dealership rip you off (mine charged me 600+)!

Like the above people have pointed out, there really is never a huge service for the 2IS. The actionable things are: rotate tires, change filters and oil every 5k, brake fluid flush every 30k, and spark plugs every 60k. Rotating tires isn't even an option on staggered 2IS. So air filters are $20, oil change is $50, and brake fluid flush is $100.
So if you decide for yourself that you choose to go to a dealership, by all means go for it. Just don't pay a dime over ~$170. The remaining $300-400 these dealers include in the price for the 30k service is pure profit and comes from the myriad ignorant Lexus owners who'll just write a check for whatever number they're told.
Just read your Scheduled Maintenance Guide carefully and at each service, call up and ask for the services you need specifically and separately. I called a dealership near me and asked the price for the 60k service and they quoted me something over $1000. Then I called back, got a different person, and asked for the price of each service the 60k service includes separately, and the prices totaled half that. I guarantee you can repeat this with your dealer.

Best Price
Not sure if my info. is a bit late but in case you already bought your parts,
maybe this info may help you in the future.
Sewell has the 60k mile kit for $169 plus $12 shipping (good but not too good
Contact Superstition Springs Lexus in AZ and ask if they can beat that price.
They will probably will and send you their own prices (make sure you itemize what you need). When they send you a quote, send it along with Sewell's special to some of your local Lexus dealers and ask if they can match the lowest price. I did exactly the same and had only one dealer reply offering their products at the lowest price I sent them.
Sewell's in TX
$169 plus $12 shipping (it includes brake fluid) I did not need it.
Superstition Springs Lexus in AZ
1. plugs (6) $14.86
2. oil filter $4.46
3. Cabin filter $31.61
4. air filter $19.55
I did shop around and these were the best prices I could get for OEM parts.
Longo Lexus matched these prices and Chris offered me engine oil for $4.76 Qrt. I of course went to Longo Lexus because I did not want to wait a week or more for the mail carrier to bring my parts. I got my service done for $60.
If you have a print out of what's required (e.g. replace, perform, inspect) for the 30k or 60k service, give it to your personal mechanic and have him/her do what dealers would do for a fraction of what delares would charge.
I spent about $243 for all.
Good luck next time
