My vote is to do it. If you're going to keep the car, go with paint. If not, vinyl it.

I say do it! Maybe something with some reflective-ness in it, like a black pearl (if that exists?) I know someone did black with like gold flakes in it (yea gold wouldnt work for yours, but an example! haha).

Also, maybe a LIGHT smoke on the tails? I'm clearly biased to liking that though... haha

^ Thanks! I tried changing things up dramatically today, but failed miserably. So my car still looks like that haha.

Hey Brociouz did you get a shop to do yours? I am pretty good with things like this so I definitely want to do it myself. I just need to find the right vinyl material with adhesive that won't damage my paint underneath...

And my vote says for the OP to do it, especially because of your rims!

I had a shop professionally paint mine. I did have vinyl at first, but it wasn't glossy enough for my taste.

Ohh.. Is the gloss THAT much of a difference?

I would like to paint it but at the same time — I would like for the next owner to decide what he wants without spending money to have it painted back to this old color. Just being considerate =).

IMO, yes, it's that big of a difference. Additionally, when you paint it you can do stuff like polishing, waxing, etc. to make it look purty. Not so with vinyl. I know where you're coming from re: reversibility but I think it's a fairly conservative modification and shouldn't alienate many buyers.

Nope... black roof belongs to the vehicle equipped with pano (or carbon) roof like my Mercedes E
