Cool 2007 is250

Can someone advise me on the cleaning of a MAF sensor on my 2007 IS250? I have read that some of the Lexus MAF sensors can be damaged by cleaning them. I have the CRC MAF sensor cleaner, and want to know if it is safe to clean it with this product? Thank You.

Why do you need to clean it?

I've used the exact same stuff on mine (07-is250) and never had a problem - in fact it made more of a difference (better) than I was expecting.

You're not supposed to use it on Karmen Vortex type MAFs. I think that these types of MAFs were pretty common on some of the older Lexus vehicles.

If you look at the image on the front of the can of the cleaner, it looks pretty much exactly like the MAF that you are going to pull out of your car.
