Good idea to have the B odometer to keep track of miles driven between oil changes. I also use the A odometer to keep track of my miles after I fill up. When it gets past 300, the gas light will come up shortly after.
I wish I can set the oil change reminder to 10k vs 5k because I do my oil changes every 10k with Mobil1. I just reset the 5k and do nothing until I hit the next 5k.

I try and do the same thing (A for tank mileage, B for service) but sometimes i need to drive my car around for work and i find myself resetting B to keep track of my miles that day. I could just calculate mileage when i leave and when i return, but nahh....lol. It would be nice if i could "freeze" B for when im not taking business trips but o well, haven't seen that feature in any car yet lol.

Uhhh you guys realize the car has a computer system that tracks the service mileage right?? I mean it is a Lexus... and I think it takes about 3 pushes of a button to set/reset it via the navi.

I keep trip A to do manual MPG calculation, too. Your idea of trip B for oil change is cool. I'll do that since I just change the oil yesterday. Thanks.

I started doing this a few months ago. Before I would reset A & B every time I filled up and then finally realized it would be smarter to use B for oil change.
