Default windows not rolling down

I have a 2006 IS 350 and my rear window will not roll down from my drivers seat controls. but it still rolls down if you are sitting in the back and try to roll it down. But the automatic up and down does not work at all.
I just got it fixed from minor scratches on the drivers door, drivers rear door and above the wheel, could it have been the problem that possibly they did not hook it back up? has anyone had a problem like this?

Sounds like the battery was disconnected.

I had the same problem and the dealer showed me how to solve this. He rolled the back driver's side windows down from the back passengers seat first and held the button down and then roll it back up, then the back passenger side. This would reset the computer. When I tried to control the window from the drivers seat again, it worked after. They go out of electronic alignment.

It doesn't matter what order you do it in, you have to reset each window control individually. All you do is roll the window down (just a little, doesn't have to go all the way down) using switch on the door then roll it back up and hold for 1 second. You'll hear a small click sound. The lights also flash on the window control switch to indicate they need to be reset.

you have to do it every single time you disconnect power of your window control ( change battery, or swapping window control switch ...)
