Ok, just changed oil yesterday for Mobil1 5w-30 Extended Performance Full Synthetic.
I was impressed how much oil went into the engine! A little above 6,5 quarters!
Anyway another day was cold in the morning and I have noticed that engine between 1800-2800rpm making some noise kinda like valve and it is annoying me cause on the old oil (Pennzoil conventional) I haven't notice anything like that..? When the engine gets warm ticking goes away. I am wondering did I do good job by switching to full syn or It's going to be bad?

Been using Mobil 1 full syn and OEM filters since I purchased my '06 350 almost a year ago. Never any issues, noises, blow-by, oil loss or leaks. I've only changed the oil twice in one year...and that includes the one right after I purchased the car.

You will be fine. If anything, the synthetic oil will clean up anything the conventional oil left behind. You would be surprised how quickly the synthetic gets dirty when you first switch from regular. I would suggest your next oil change to be at 3k miles then 5k miles then 10k miles after that. That's how I have always switched engines from regular to synthetic. Some have done a 1k interval after the initial switch but I believe that's overkill.

Just my opinion.

I changed my old Lexus to synthetic around 130k miles and it still runs fine at 150k.

My personal preference has always been WIX oil filters (also use them for my air filter) I think the Napa Gold filters are also made by WIX, and depending on your area one is always cheaper than the other...

^ Whatever is on the cap is what you should use, IMO, unless you have a real reason for using anything else.
