Default Have a repair manual/diagram for moonroof module (the dial pieces are my issue)

Taking apart the trim for painting with a headliner replacement; Upon reassembling it the dial doesnt "notch" like it used to, rather it just turns freely. It also gives no power to the moonroof. Neither does it depress in and rebound freely. After troubleshooting it a million times, taking it apart and putting it back together...still nothing. All day, this freakin thing! I managed with enough pressing and turning and fiddling with it to get it to close and it seemed that when it closed I had put these parts for the dial in different alignment. Now that it's closed I'm not messing with it till I am not just going to be fooling around. When it closed was such a random moment (holding it together not mounted or assembled) that I cant duplicate it.

There is an outer dial, an inner plastic piece/dial, and a little ring that makes an electrical connection. Perhaps there's a spring that popped and I didnt realize (there is only one spring now, mounted inside the outer dial). I dont know.

If anyone would happen to have a pdf file or a link to materials showing/explaining the assembly and operation of this...it'd be appreciated.

this is the removal instructions, but you might find something useful in it... particulary step 12?

Not sure whether this will help, but it's the page on adjusting the roof.
