They aren't that great. They are just cheap tires, i've seen Nexen's being "given away" with rims as a package. Your better off spending your money on a good set of tires like the Hankook Ventus V12's

I haven't had a set, but i've actually seen them given away "free" with wheel packages. (Generally, its the crappy tires that are given away with wheels) and i haven't heard anything positive about them, i have heard they are A) Cheap and B) Noisy on other forums though.

Nexen is sponsoring a Mazda RX-8 in this year's Formula Drift events. Just thought that was interesting.

I always thought Nexen to be a generic tire given away with aftermarket wheel pkgs.

nexen is an up and coming brand they have been around for years... down here in miami they are a dime a dozen. I have a few relatives that ride on them and a co-worker. performance wise they may not be all there but treadwear, roadnoise and comfort they are pretty good no complaints, i would rate them better than the falken 912's. the 5000 series all season tires are good. a lot of people rate it well especially for the price. i believe tirerack sells the 5000 model irc.

just looking for good tread-wear, low road noise, and decent all-season performance.

i have kuhmo ecsta asx's and i couldn't be happier with them, but they doubled the price of them since i last bought them.

the cp 672's remind me of michelin tires
