Replacing chrome wheels with black. Advice needed.
I have a 2010 IS250 C that has 18" chrome wheels. I want to have black wheels instead, but I'm not sure the best way to go about it. My options are to paint the chrome wheels black, or buy new black wheels and try to sell the chrome's.
From doing a little research, it looks like the chrome wheels are fairly expensive. Probably more expensive than the black wheels I would replace them with. So in a best case scenario, selling them would more than pay for the new wheels. My big question is: is there a market for chrome wheels? I'd hate to replace them and then find out I can't sell them. If that's the case, my best option would be to paint them.
Does anyone have any experience with this. I'd appreciate any advice.

I'd say there is a limited number of people that want OEM chrome wheels. Your best bet would be to trade your wheels with another and charge a bit. That way you will still have wheels and a few bucks in your pocket.
