We have vendors in the forums like Xenondepot and HIDextra which provide great customer support here in CL, some have good and bad experiences, Ive used HIDextra and have no problems so far.

I just put in some from DDM Tuning about a month ago and they are GREAT, a lot cheaper then both of those and can be ordered with the small ballasts to fit better in the little light compartment.

Pinoyako,

I've had the XenonSupply HID kit for about 2 years now, and never had a problem with them.

The great thing about XenonSupply is that they make instructional videos for everyone to watch with step by step instruction on how to perform the install. I bought their kit and followed the video exactly and finished my install in about 45 minutes.

Great light output, and great service if you ask me.

Lexus IS 250/350 HID Installation Video by XenonSupply

Hope that helps.

Honestly, i bought the cheapest set of hids on ebay for about 35 dollars with the big ballast and aside from having a ballast burn on my one time i never really had any problems. I sent the ballast back and they replaced it under warranty at my expense for shipping only. Even oem hids are prone to issues (my friend with a 335i had his oem driver side go bad and replaced them for aftermarket because the dealer wanted to charge him $400). People will rant that you get what you pay for(which is true in most cases) but the honest truth is that somethings in life are just overpriced. I think you will be fine with a ebay kit. I just orderd my fogs and lowbeam for $67 combined including shipping.

i bought my 4300k xtremeHID kit from Xenondepot and I couldn't be happier....I had the ddmtuning ones installed in my truck and even though i ordered 4300k....I still got 6k or 5k output, they were too blue. The kit might have been expensive, but it was complete plug and play, painless install, and the color is bang on.

I currently have 8000k Mtec low beams and 6000k white w/blue tint V-Hids. They don't match perfectly, but for an 8k bulb the Mtec's have decent light output. I have my v-hid d4s 6000k white w/blue tint on the way from v-leds right now, so I'll post some pics when they are installed.

For the price of v-leds hid kits, they really can't be beat.

Here are some pics of my lights now:

I bought mine from DDM Tuning after having problems with my old kit and it was a huge difference. They're slim ballasts and you can choose to go with 35 W or 55 W. I went with 55 W and it was a lot brighter.

I wouldn't suggest going with 55w. They produce a good deal more heat than a 35w kit does. Not sure how much the IS headlights can handle, but 55w bulbs have been known to cause damage (melt housings mainly) in many cars.
