Calvin,

You clarified my suspicion. Since you said AWD loaners and you have 350 RWD, it would have about the same or better fuel economy. Now if it were in comparision to 350 AWD, that would be more of a fair comparison.

I was comparing IS250 AWD to 350 RWD because that's what I understand the OP is comparing. The fuel economy difference between the two is negligible enough to come down entirely to driving style.

Default i found two lexus is 350 that i like but which one is the better deal

hey guys well i have trouble figuring out which is i like better, they are both black on black, i think the differences of both models would have to be one is cheaper then the other by $2000, and maybe the luxury package???

click on both of the links to see what they look like and what not,

im leaning towards the first link because thats the one i have my eye on

I would say neither of them because no service history. Also, it is not CPO and you could get a better car CPO for the mileage.

There is currently no service history information available for your 2006 IS350.

Update. Looks like both have service history now. Seems like the Lexus website was not working properly as both the VINS show history now. Both cars seems good in terms of the history but still question about it since the mileage is high and could get a better one.

Certified Pre-Owned. Have to go to a Lexus dealership for CPO(s).

The price difference between a 250 and 350, even new, is about $4000, for an extra 102 hp.

You can't add 102 hp to an IS250 even if you spent $8000 on it.

There are no "chips" and adding intake, headers, and exhaust (which will run between $1500-2500 depending what brands you go with) adds about 25-30 hp total.... and that's about it for the 250.

One 250 owner in Greece (where the 350 isn't available) has gotten a supercharger to work on his car... he's spent a lot more than $4000 and is still making less power than a bone stock IS350.
